Welcome TO CASA DE LUz formally massage by moriah

Neighboring Westside Reservoir Park, Casa de Luz is a queer, latina-owned holistic healing center & day spa offering spa treatments, massage, Reiki, tarot, as well as private and small group instruction in meditation and yoga. The owner, Moriah Bray, received her certification in Massage & Hydrotherapy from Florida School of Massage as well as her FL Massage Therapy License from the FL Department of Health in April of 2015. She went on to receive her GA Massage Therapy License in October of 2017. Since then she has maintained licensure and clients in both states. In February of 2022, she completed an advanced yoga teacher certification (500hrs) and Reiki Mastery from Peachtree Yoga Center in Sandy Springs. As diverse bodies need diverse remedies, Casa de Luz operates holistically to address a person’s mind, body, and spirit. La Casa is a place where you are offered a moment of being truly seen and held. Come in! Find your light here and nourish it!

History on La Casa

The house was built in 1945 and is a traditional brick craftsman style home. It was my dream to own a craftsman in one of Atlanta’s historic neighborhoods. I found my dream in Grove Park, a once affluent black neighborhood in a part of Atlanta that is now gentrifying every day, but is known for and memorialized in East Coast hip-hop and trap music for the strife and poverty persevered through here. I am so proud to be part of this community and to operate my business from here. My hope is to deliver more health and wellness to the Westside community and introduce new faces to the growth and resilience happening here.

*Weekday hours have been shortened as I’ve taken on full-time massage therapy instruction for Elaine Sterling Institute so please try to book in advance to secure your appointment time!

*Brimstone my beautiful indoor/ outdoor tabby cat lives on the property. You might catch him sunbathing on the front porch or hunting birds on the lawn. He is not permitted in the massage room (though he usually supervises from the windowsill) and I vacuum daily to combat hair and dander. If you have severe cat allergies please arrange a mobile service with me. Mobile services are available in and around metro-Atlanta for a $50 travel fee within a 15 mile radius of the office.
